Fantastic at Fifty!

Yesterday was my mothers 50th Birthday, a very significant milestone in a persons life, yes you may be thinking and asking yourself....50 she is young and yes she is. She was a very young 17 when she had me and sometimes I feel we are more like sisters than mother and daughter. I consider myself lucky to have a young mum and my children to have a young nannie...one who is able to share all the same interests as me. She has accomplished a lot of fantastic things is her life so far and it gets me thinking.....where will I be when I am 50? Happy Birthday Mum and thanks for being a great inspiration in my life!

Hooked!

It's official I am totally hooked on Stargate.... I know I know but after watching the first couple of episodes I now find myself well and truly in the midst of season 5. My enthusiasm has now spilled over and my Mother, Sister and Brother are all avid watchers as well....what have you watched and unwittingly become hooked to?

So It Begins!

Well I am officially a Blogger....lol thought it was about time I put in my two cents worth and let the world know that I exist! I plan on using this blog to share my life experiences and love of cooking. If you have read my about me you would of seen I am very interested in Frontier living on the old West..... wow what a hard life that would of been, but oh so rewarding, living simply and frugally...the way we should all be living!
